On Monday, we collect the list of produce available with the farmers and farmer groups we work with. After consolidating the list of available produce, we send the list to the customers on Tuesday. We receive the orders till the end of Wednesday. By Thursday, we consolidate the orders and intimate the farmers and farmer groups. Farmers harvest the produce and start sending it to us.
From Friday evening/night we start collecting the produce sent by various farmers. The collected produce is kept in the houses of the team members who collect it. On Saturday morning team members bring all the produce to Satsanga. We move the crates, weighing machines, baskets and bags from the storage space to Satsanga. Then the team starts arranging the customer's preorders. After preorders are arranged the extra produce is kept for the walk in customers.
The "Safe Food Space" is open* to customers on Saturday evenings from 4 p.m to 6 p.m.
After 6 p.m., we clean up the space and move the crates, bags, baskets and weighing machines back to the storage space.
